Nia Elise
Vocalist
Nia Elise was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. Inspired by iconic artists like Aretha, Lauryn Hill, and Jill Scott, she honed her own unique style. Now residing in Tucson, Arizona, Nia has 2 EP’s featured on the Pima County Library music database called “Desert Streams”, played on several radio stations across the country, and enjoys performing live with her band, Nia Elise & The Dreamers.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Joshua has had the gumbo from an early age, but once he moved to the Bay Area in 1999, everything changed! He started as a drummer and picked up the bass at age 14. Joshua wears many different hats in the industry, from Producer to Engineer, but he’s all about that BASS!

Marcus Batson-Jones is a keyboardist and producer blending jazz, soul, and hip-hop into laid-back, emotive grooves. Inspired by J Dilla, Cookin Soul, and Robert Glasper, he’s been crafting his sound on the keys for 6 years.

Shua Taylor blends blues, rock, funk, soul into a style all his own. Almost two decades of experimentation and mimicking the sounds of his idols, playing has become both expressive and groove driven. A veteran of countless bands and a self-taught recording engineer, Shua’s all about chasing feel over flash, and letting the music speak for itself.
